We are recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established and growing business in the East Riding of Yorkshire. The Role
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Managing employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and investigations
- Supporting managers with coaching and people management issues
- Assisting with recruitment activities including advertising, interviewing and onboarding
- Maintaining accurate HR records and employee data
- Supporting payroll administration and ensuring payroll information is processed accurately
- Reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures
- Supporting HR audits and compliance activities
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice
About You
- Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor position
- Strong employee relations experience with the ability to manage a varied and busy caseload
- Payroll administration experience
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- The ability to remain calm, professional and solution-focused under pressure
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
- CIPD Level 5 qualified, or CIPD Level 3 with current progression towards CIPD Level 5
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
