Are you exceptionally strong with data and numbers? Our client, a well-established food business is seeking a Trainee Buying Analyst to support the procurement and buying function through accurate data analysis, reporting, and commercial insight. This role plays a key part in cost control, supplier performance monitoring, and supporting informed purchasing decisions within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Working closely with Buying, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations teams to analyse spend, identify trends, and highlight opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing purchasing and spend data
  • Maintaining accurate reports and dashboards
  • Supporting pricing and margin analysis
  • Monitoring supplier performance
  • Assisting with forecasting and budgeting activities
