We’re looking for a proactive, people-focused Senior Facilities Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team, drive operational excellence, and uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer experience. This is a senior role with full leadership responsibility across Hard FM, Soft FM, and a diverse mixed-use property portfolio predominantly across Leeds and Manchester but also includes properties in London and Scotland.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys developing teams, and can confidently oversee both in-house operations and outsourced contract partners.

The Role

  • Lead and develop a team spanning 2 x Hard FMs, Soft FM, a Building Manager and 24/7 security operations.
  • Manage both planned and reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and contractor performance.
  • Oversee cleaning, waste, and security services (mix of in-house and outsourced teams).
  • Ensure building safety, operational continuity, and exceptional standards across commercial, retail, and residential areas.
  • Manage budgets, assist with service charge elements, procurement, and supplier performance.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, stakeholders, residents, and internal teams.
  • Drive sustainability, energy efficiency, service improvement, and operational quality.

This is a senior operational role requiring strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in Facilities Management (Hard and Soft FM service delivery) at a senior or multi-site level.
  • Strong people management skills, including leading both in-house and outsourced teams.
  • Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive, organised leader who can juggle multiple demands and drive improvement.

Salary & Pay

  • To £50,000
  • 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
  • Free parking in Leeds City centre - 24/7
  • On call escalation rota 1 week in 6.
  • 26 days annual leave + 8 public/bank holidays.
  • Pension: Auto-enrolment after 3 months; eligibility for the Company Defined Contribution Pension Scheme after 12 months.
  • Share Incentive Plan: Eligible after 6 months’ service.
  • Health and wellbeing plan after successful probation.
