Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00pm - 5:00am (No weekends)
We are currently recruiting for a QA Supervisor professional to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment in Knaresborough. Reporting to the Shift Technical Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety, quality standards, and supporting production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line manage 2 direct reports, providing guidance and support
- Monitor, control, and audit the production process
- Ensure all conformities and non-conformities are clearly communicated, followed up, and closed
- Investigate food safety incidents using root cause analysis
- Support day-to-day technical operations across site
- Assist with external audits and accreditations (e.g. BRC, retailer standards)
- Provide technical support during new product launches
About You:
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can do attitude
- Confident in challenging processes where necessary
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills (particularly Google-based systems)
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing technical or similar role
- HACCP or Food Safety qualification (preferred)
