The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Building Maintenance Engineer to join the team at a large healthcare facility in Leicester .
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs)
- Responding to reactive maintenance tasks
- Basic carpentry, painting, decorating, and other general building fabric duties
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
This is a static, client-facing role, working in a critical healthcare environment where quality and responsiveness are key.
The Person
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience in a similar client-facing building maintenance role
- A well-rounded skillset covering carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance
- A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in healthcare environments is desirable but not essential
