We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and motivated Assistant Facilities Manager to join the facilities management team based at a large mixed-use commercial development in Leeds city centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within Facilities Management, working across a commercial property portfolio and supporting the delivery of both reactive maintenance and projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing contractors, overseeing maintenance activities, analysing CAFM data, and ensuring high standards of service delivery across the estate.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee all reactive maintenance activities across the portfolio.
- Utilise the CAFM system to monitor maintenance requests, contractor performance, and asset information.
- Review and assess contractor quotations, challenging costs where appropriate and ensuring value for money.
- Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitor the quality of completed works and ensure compliance with required standards.
- Oversee subcontractors on-site and ensure works are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Analyse CAFM and maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders.
