The Opportunity

As Production Manager, you'll lead and inspire a shift-based production team, ensuring safety, quality, service, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved. You'll be at the heart of the operation, driving performance, developing talent, and identifying opportunities to improve productivity across the factory floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing production team
  • Deliver operational targets across safety, quality, cost and service
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Monitor and analyse KPIs, implementing corrective actions where required
  • Manage labour planning to meet production demands effectively
  • Coach and support Supervisors and Team Leaders to maximise team performance
  • Promote a positive, engaged and accountable team culture

About You

We're keen to speak with ambitious production leaders who can bring energy, drive and strong people management skills to the role. You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Manager, Shift Supervisor or Production Manager
  • Experience within food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced production environment
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • A good understanding of food safety, quality and operational compliance standards
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • The ability to thrive in a KPI-driven manufacturing environment
