As a result, this is not your typical high-pressure estimating role. With an average T/O of c£30m to £35m and strong relationships across the public and private sectors, the business offers a stable pipeline of work and a collaborative, supportive culture. The Opportunity The majority of projects are delivered through frameworks and repeat clients, with schemes typically 80-90% designed before reaching the estimating team. This creates a more structured and predictable environment, allowing you to focus on producing high-quality estimates rather than dealing with constant last-minute tender deadlines and heavily contested bids. You'll be responsible for preparing mechanical estimates, analysing tender documentation and engaging with the supply chain to secure competitive and compliant quotations. Typical project values range from £2m to £18m M&E, with an average project size of £4m-£5m.
