About the Company

Our client is an international supplier of construction materials expanding into the UK market and is seeking a driven and experienced Field Sales Manager to lead its UK sales operations. The company has a strong reputation overseas and is now investing in building its UK presence.

The Role

This is a client-facing, field-based role where you’ll be responsible for developing and executing the UK sales strategy, managing the full sales lifecycle, and building relationships with key players in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive B2B sales of construction materials across the UK
  • Meet clients on-site, at offices, and at industry events
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing, and account management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, distributors, and developers
  • Collaborate with international HQ to align on product offerings and logistics
  • Represent the company at trade shows and networking events
  • Contribute to future team building and leadership as the UK operation grows

About You

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in the construction sector
  • Proven success in field sales roles with strong client-facing experience
  • Deep understanding of the UK construction market and supply chain
  • Strong network of industry contacts
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and confident working independently
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience selling wholesale goods is a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for business growth
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales performance tracking
  • Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work under minimal supervision
