Job Description

Alantra is looking to hire an Analyst within its Investment Banking team covering Real Estate Debt Advisory. The successful candidate will support clients in structuring, sourcing and executing debt financing solutions across Real Estate in the UK and Europe. This role is intended for candidates with strong technical and analytical capabilities, and relevant experience across debt advisory, leveraged finance, structured finance, DCM or corporate banking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise corporate and sponsor‑backed clients on debt financing strategies including acquisition finance, refinancing and restructuring.
  • Support the structuring and execution of debt transactions across bank and capital markets products.
  • Build and analyse financial models, capital structures and credit metrics to determine appropriate financing solutions.
  • Prepare client materials including pitch books, financing proposals and credit presentations.
  • Coordinate with internal product teams, including leveraged finance, DCM and structured finance, to deliver integrated financing solutions.
  • Support lender processes including syndication, due diligence and documentation.
  • Monitor market conditions and provide clients with insights on debt markets and financing trends.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporates, private equity sponsors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support senior team members on live transactions and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in Debt Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Structured Finance, DCM, Corporate Banking or a related financing role.
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis, capital structures and debt markets.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to build models from scratch.
  • Experience supporting the execution of debt transactions and preparing client‑facing materials.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, CFA or equivalent are advantageous.
