An exciting opportunity to join a successful independent investment bank in their production team, using your design skills to create professional reports, presentations and digital assets for a range of stakeholders. You will work closely with the Equity Research team and be responsible for formatting, preparing and publishing documents produced by Research Analysts in line with required standards and timelines. Alongside these core duties, the role contributes significantly to the firm’s visual communications by creating branded graphics for internal and external channels, the website and broader marketing materials. The function also provides cross‑firm support on presentation formatting, design tasks and general communication requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Review and format research documents to meet the required quality control process and Compliance framework.
- Produce final PDFs for electronic distribution to clients and third‑party vendors via CRM and distribution systems, within agreed deadlines.
- Provide technical support to Analysts in Word and Excel, including creation and refinement of charts, tables and templates.
- Assist in the improvement, rollout and testing of templates before they are released to the wider team.
- Create branded graphics for social media, marketing materials, corporate updates/events and internal communications using the Adobe Suite.
- Work alongside colleagues in multimedia to create thumbnails and promotional banners for video content.
- Develop and maintain visually cohesive templates and branded assets for the wider firm, as well as supporting updates to the company website and internal intranet.
- Support other areas of the business with formatting of PowerPoint presentation decks, ensuring a professional, consistent standard across the firm, including occasional printing and binding when required.
What we are looking for
- Experience in document production, publishing, marketing or research support (c. 1–2 years); applications from strong graduates or early‑career candidates will also be considered.
- A genuine interest in financial markets and the investment banking environment.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Proficiency in Adobe products such as Photoshop and Illustrator, and a good understanding of visual design principles; experience creating branded digital assets is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Premiere is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work confidently with individuals at all levels of seniority.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage tight and competing deadlines and solve problems with a high degree of autonomy.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a quality‑focused mindset and strong organisational skills.
- Proactive learner with a positive, collaborative approach and strong team orientation.
