Our client, a highly respected US mid-market investment bank with a strong presence in London, is looking to hire a talented M&A Associate into its FIG – Insurance team. This opportunity arises from robust deal flow and continued business growth. We’re seeking an autonomous, entrepreneurial professional with deep sector expertise who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute M&A sell-side mandates and support origination of new business opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze financial models, projections, and business plans.
- Coordinate and conduct detailed business due diligence.
- Develop high-quality marketing materials including pitch decks and management presentations.
- Perform valuations for companies and business units.
- Assist in planning and execution of M&A transactions.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on financial analysis, research, and presentation best practices.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4–6 years of proven M&A execution experience in the FIG Insurance sector, from an advisory boutique, Big 4 Corporate Finance team, bank, or corporate environment.
- Solid understanding of M&A processes and transaction cycles.
- Strong financial analysis, valuation, and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex deal environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
