We\’re Hiring: M&A Analyst – Financial Institutions Group (FIG)

Location: City of London Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an ambitious M&A professional looking to take your career to the next level? Our client — a leading investment bank and corporate finance advisory firm — is expanding its FIG (Financial Institutions Group) team due to significant deal flow and growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside high-calibre senior MDs on high-profile deals in the Financial Services and Fintech sectors , gaining exposure across a range of subsectors in the upper mid-market space .

What You’ll Be Doing:

✔️ Build financial models and perform valuations

✔️ Prepare marketing materials (IMs, presentations, etc.)

✔️ Contribute to live deals, Q&A processes, and bid coordination

✔️ Support buy-side/sell-side mandates and strategic reviews

What We’re Looking For:

2+ years’ M&A experience at an investment bank or elite boutique OR

ACA-qualified (first-time passes) from a Big 4 firm with 1+ year PQE in Transaction Services or Valuations

Minimum 2:1 degree from a top-tier Red Brick university

Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and professionalism
