The Opportunity
My client is seeking a high-performing Analyst 2 or Analyst 3 to join the expanding FIG Team in London. The team advises on high-profile M&A transactions within the FIG sector. With a strong pipeline and a collaborative team culture, this is an opportunity to gain exceptional exposure to large-cap, cross-border deals while working closely with senior team members and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of complex M&A transactions, including valuation, financial analysis, due diligence, and preparation of client deliverables such as pitch books, IMs, and management presentations.
- Conduct sector and company research, including analysis of insurance brokers and other financial institutions.
- Assist in origination efforts and contribute to internal investment opportunities.
- Collaborate across all levels of the team, with early responsibility and visibility across transactions.
- Participate in client meetings and help manage processes through to completion.
Skills:
- Must have 2 – 3 years of Investment Banking experience in Financial Services (FIG) from an investment bank or boutique.
- Must have a strong academic background from Russel Group University.
- Proficient in valuation techniques, financial modelling, and market analysis.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
- Passion for building relationships and driving impactful outcomes.
