Our client is a leading investor in the UK and Europe and they are on the lookout for a talented Associate Director to play a pivotal role in expanding their healthcare team. Their mission? To invest over £1 billion into the UK & European healthcare sector.

The Opportunity: Join a team that specializes in asset-backed healthcare investments covering children’s social care, education services, and adult specialist care services. Leverage your deep sector knowledge, swift decision-making abilities, and unwavering integrity. Focus on building enduring partnerships with successful, high-quality care providers – no underperforming or distressed opportunities. Engage in transaction structures including sale & leasebacks and M&A. Work with individual investments ranging from £20 million to £500 million+. Contribute to new investment strategies, including expansion into Europe and the elderly care sector.
The Role: Report to the Head of Healthcare while collaborating closely with the Transactions Team, Finance, Asset Management, and external advisors. Utilize your sector expertise and transaction experience to identify, evaluate, convert, and execute investment opportunities. Engage in ad hoc projects to shape the firm's evolving investment strategy, explore new markets, and collaborate with care providers across the existing portfolio.
Specific Experience and Requirements: Degree level education or equivalent, ideally with an accountancy or recognized business qualification. A minimum of 5 years of relevant transaction experience, typically in an advisory role at an Investment Bank, an M&A Boutique, a Big 4 advisory team, or similar. Experience working on transactions in the care home sector.
