A leading US-headquartered investment bank is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Healthcare M&A team in London. The team advises private and public healthcare companies, founder-led businesses, sponsors, and strategic acquirers across a broad range of mid-market transactions throughout Europe and internationally.

The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in the execution of M&A transactions across sectors including healthcare services, pharma services and medtech services. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and leading execution workstreams across sell-side and buy-side mandates
- Building and reviewing financial models, valuation analyses, and transaction materials
- Managing due diligence processes and coordinating with clients, legal advisers, and counterparties
- Preparing presentations, pitch materials, and strategic analyses for clients and prospective mandates
- Mentoring Analysts and contributing to the development of junior team members
- Working closely with senior bankers on origination initiatives and client relationships
Candidate Profile
The team is looking to speak with candidates who possess:
- 4–6 years of investment banking experience, ideally within M&A and with healthcare coverage
- Strong technical modelling and valuation capabilities
- Previous exposure to healthcare, pharma services, medtech, or related sectors is advantageous
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- A high level of commercial judgement and attention to detail
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
