This is a fabulous opportunity to join a leading international investment bank in a period of growth, with a strong track record of completing successful M&A and ECM transactions across the mid-market.
My client is looking to hire an Investment Banking Associate with 4-6 years of M&A execution experience.
- Support the execution of M&A mandates and originate new business development leads.
- Analyse and explain historical and projected financial information and business plans of target companies.
- Prepare high-quality marketing materials: management presentations, pitches, and other client-facing documents.
- Conduct company valuations and financial analyses.
- Assist in the planning and marketing of M&A engagements.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality, adherence to firm standards, and their professional development.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years of M&A deal execution experience ideally from Big 4 corporate finance/M&A team.
- Proven track record of completing multiple M&A transactions from pitch to close.
- Experience in the Technology sector is desirable.
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple M&A workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen, capable of valuing companies based on financial profile, strategic fit, and market attractiveness.
- Able to manage multiple engagements and shifting priorities.
