My client is a smallâmid cap UK corporate broking and Nomad firm, with a generalist sector coverage. Their research is nonâindependent corporate client focused and they are growing the business across equities and corporate advisory, which is why they are looking to hire successful Equity Sales people into the team.
Responsibilities
- Distribution of the research product, corporate access, trading platforms and the marketing of the capital market transactions (initial public offerings, followâon offerings, convertibles) to buyâside clients (mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds etc.).
- Preparation of inâdepth competitive analysis of market developments by continuously collecting key data, analysing trends, anticipating market moves and initiating trade ideas.
- Development of a strategic approach to finding and onâboarding new clients.
- Supporting international sales efforts, coordinating and facilitating special projects as requested by management.
- Assisting in the organization of investor conferences, marketing trips for analysts and roadshow trips for our corporate clients.
- Drive P&L performance and monitor accounts.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of UK smallâmid cap Equity Sales experience is required.
- Fundamental understanding of the UK financial industry (securities markets, valuation, brokerage operations etc.).
- Highly motivated, selfâstarter.
- Strong problemâsolving and analytical skills.
- Team player.
- Superior client service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
