Main Responsibilities
- Distribution of the research product, corporate access, trading platforms and the marketing of the capital market transactions (initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, convertibles) to buy-side clients (mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds etc.).
- Preparation of in-depth competitive analysis of market developments by continuously collecting key data, analysing trends, anticipating market moves and initiating trade ideas.
- Development of a strategic approach to finding and onboarding new clients.
- Supporting international sales efforts, coordinating and facilitating special projects as requested by management.
- Assisting in the organization of investor conferences, marketing trips for analysts and roadshow trips for our corporate clients.
- Drive P&L performance and monitor accounts.
Qualifications required
- 2+ years of London financial services experience, preferably in a small-cap equities environment.
- Fundamental understanding of the UK financial industry (securities markets, evaluation, brokerage operations etc.).
- Highly motivated, self-starter.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Team player.
- Superior client service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
