This is an exciting opportunity to join a global investment bank in a period of growth, with a strong track record of completing successful M&A and ECM transactions across the mid-market. The Healthcare team leverages deep industry knowledge and long-standing relationships to maximise value for clients ranging from healthcare corporates to private equity-backed businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of Healthcare and Pharma M&A mandates and originate new business development leads
- Analyse and explain historical and projected financial information and business plans of target companies
- Coordinate and perform business due diligence
- Prepare high-quality marketing materials: management presentations, pitches, and other client-facing documents
- Conduct company valuations and financial analyses
- Assist in the planning and marketing of M&A engagements
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, ensuring quality, adherence to firm standards, and their professional development
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–4 years of M&A deal execution experience from an investment bank, boutique advisory firm, or Big 4 corporate finance/M&A team
- Proven track record of completing multiple M&A transactions from pitch to close
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple M&A workstreams simultaneously
- Strong financial acumen, capable of valuing Healthcare companies based on financial profile, strategic fit, and market attractiveness
- Ability to work effectively in complex situations and deliver results under pressure
- Strong problem‑solving skills, creativity, and ability to innovate
- Able to manage multiple engagements and shifting priorities
- Proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic; able to drive internal and transaction‑related initiatives
