My client is a leading global investment advisory firm providing strategic M&A, capital markets and debt advisory services. Working with clients, large corporates, conglomerates and growth companies they have a strong focus on Consumer, Retail, Industrials and Technology sectors. Due to continued growth and a very healthy pipeline of projects they are actively hiring an Associate for their team in London.
The Opportunity

The Details
- Build and maintain quantitative/statistical models supporting deal analytics, client targeting, valuation sensitivity, revenue forecasting, and market trend analysis.
- Develop predictive models using machine learning and econometric techniques to identify opportunities, improve pricing, or enhance client engagement.
- Enhance M&A and financing models with analytics features, automation, and scenario‑based outputs.
- Analyse large datasets (internal & external) to identify trends and provide actionable insights to deal teams.
- Support live transactions with rapid analytics and model‑based insights.
- Design and automate dashboards for senior management using Power BI and Alteryx.
Person Specification
- Must have an accounting background - ACA or CIMA or similar are highly desired - with a minimum of a year in a financial modelling or similar team.
- Must have exceptionally strong financial modelling skills.
- Experience working with large datasets and building data pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills — able to convey complex quantitative analysis to non‑technical senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical rigour, and a structured approach to problem‑solving.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
