Job Description
The Opportunity – German Language Skills Essential
A rare chance to join one of Europe’s leading social infrastructure investors, managing over £4bn in assets and expanding rapidly across healthcare and residential strategies. This role centres on a European fund of c. EUR 500m, with current assets in Germany and Sweden and a clear growth trajectory towards EUR 1bn.
You’ll play a pivotal role in asset management, financial modelling, and evaluating new opportunities across Europe, whilst progressing towards fund manager responsibilities. The role offers not only exposure to a substantial European strategy but also involvement in one of the firm’s flagship UK healthcare funds (~£600m).
Fluency in German is essential; you’ll be directly engaged with German healthcare assets and regularly travelling to facilities across Berlin, Hamburg and Gothenburg, working with investment teams across London and Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance European healthcare and residential assets.
- Build and refine complex fund models for acquisitions and performance tracking.
- Analyse European investment opportunities and support new transactions.
- Present insights and reporting to senior management and investors.
- Play a central role in growing the Fund through strategic initiatives and investor engagement.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–4 years’ post-qualification experience in investment management, real estate, healthcare or social infrastructure; corporate finance/banking background valuable.
- Fluent German speaker (business level) and strong English (ideally native).
- Track record in financial modelling and analysing European investment assets.
- Willingness to travel across Europe and develop on-the-ground market knowledge.
- Analytical, commercially minded, collaborative, and ambitious.
