M&A Senior Analyst

We are working with a leading global mid-market investment bank that specialises in the Tech and Consumer sector and seeking an M&A Senior Analyst to join its team based in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly experienced senior team with a strong track record of successfully executing M&A transactions for corporate and private equity clients. The role offers broad exposure across multiple sectors and the opportunity to take meaningful responsibility throughout the full transaction process.

The Role

The successful candidate will support the execution of live M&A mandates and contribute to business development and origination activity. Responsibilities will include:

• Analysing historical and projected financial information, business plans and company performance.
• Building and reviewing financial models and valuations.
• Conducting company, industry and market research.
• Supporting commercial and business due diligence processes.
• Preparing management presentations, marketing materials, pitch books and other client presentations.
• Assisting with the planning, marketing and execution of M&A transactions.
• Working closely with clients, management teams, senior bankers and external advisers.
• Supporting the preparation of analysis and materials for new business opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3 years of M&A sell side experience gained within an investment bank, boutique advisory firm or Big Four Corporate Finance/M&A team.
• Experience working on mid-market M&A transactions and a good understanding of the sell-side process.
• Strong financial-modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• The ability to interpret complex financial and commercial information.
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The confidence to work with clients, management teams and advisers.
• A proactive, energetic and commercially minded approach.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
• A genuine interest in developing a career in mid-market M&A.
