The Role

We are looking for an experienced Account Handler to manage a portfolio of:

  • Motor
  • Household
  • Small commercial risks (trades, shops, offices, etc.)

You will take ownership of your own work, handling policies from inception through to renewal, and providing a high‑quality, personal service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage new business, renewals, and mid‑term adjustments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurers
  • Negotiate terms and obtain competitive quotations
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance
  • Manage your own workload and priorities effectively
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client cover and retention

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an insurance broking environment
  • Strong working knowledge of: Motor, Household, SME commercial risks
  • Confident dealing directly with clients
  • Ability to manage cases independently

Desirable

  • Experience using Open GI
  • Cert CII (or working towards)

The interested applicant must have at least grade C (4) for English Language & Maths GCSE (or equivalent). They must also have the Right to Work in UK.
