This is a varied, hands-on role working at customers homes and other sites, as well as occasionally at our own premises.
Youll work independently and alongside colleagues and subcontractors, carrying out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repairs on swimming pools, spas and associated equipment.
The role is physically active and will involve lifting and moving equipment and materials.
The role is based within a 30-mile radius of our offices in Seale and therefore candidates will need to reside within this area.
Service Engineers are often remote working from a company vehicle often starting or ending their day from home.
Employees may be required to work at domestic, commercial and other sites where children and vulnerable adults may be present and therefore employees are required to comply with site safeguarding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, maintaining and fault-finding swimming pools, spas and associated equipment.
- Water testing, chemical treatment and maintaining good water quality.
- Pool filtration, pumps, heating and circulation systems.
- Plumbing and pipework installation and repairs, including ABS, PVC and some copper.
- Seasonal pool opening, closing, winterisation and routine maintenance.
- Indoor pool environmental systems and associated equipment.
- Leak detection and repair.
- Pool lining work, including the removal and installation of vinyl liners.
- General repairs, maintenance and occasional work on saunas and steam rooms.
- Safe use of tools, machinery and pool chemicals.
- Maintaining van stock, tools and equipment and assisting with deliveries when required. xgikmsk
- Carry out any reasonable additional task which a senior or manager asks you to do which benefits the organisation.
