Join us as a Business Development Manager at Alamy, specialising in the Betting sector, in our Enterprise Sales team. This fixed‐term contract is designed to cover parental leave and will commence by April at the latest.

Responsibilities

  • Strive to exceed your annual Betting revenue target.
  • Proactively source, manage and convert a strong pipeline of new Betting customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of prospective clients and present tailored creative solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver high‐quality, on‐brand sales presentations.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs across calls, emails and client meetings.
  • Provide data‐led projections to support forecasting.
  • Build trusted, long‐term relationships with senior stakeholders in the Betting industry.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in new business development, ideally in fast‐paced or competitive markets.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate clear ROI.
  • Confidence negotiating and influencing at senior level.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Resilience, tenacity and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proactive, curious mindset with strong sense of accountability.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Interest or understanding of the Betting industry (essential).
  • Knowledge of copyright and licensing in photography is beneficial but not essential.

Location and Work Arrangement

Candidate must be based anywhere in the UK and able to commute to one of PA Media's main offices in Howden (East Yorkshire), London Paddington, or Didcot. The role is hybrid, with a typical week involving three days in the office.
