The Senior Electrical Engineer is one of the technical experts responsible for ensuring HVDC converter valves are designed safely, efficiently, and reliably. You don't just create designs - you define engineering standards, review critical technical decisions, mentor other engineers, support testing, and influence the future of HVDC technology. This is not a typical design engineer role. It is a 'technical authority' position where the engineer is expected to guide projects globally, make key engineering decisions, and ensure the highest technical standards across the business.

- Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline.

Required Qualifications
- MANDATORY: Experience with HVDC and knowledge of valve converters.
- Significant and demonstrated experience in HVDC / valve converters is required.
- Electrical Engineering degree with an exceptional knowledge of electrical design and power distribution.
- Experience working on very large-scale projects.
- Senior-level profile with extensive technical expertise.
- The candidate will be responsible for signing off on the electrical designs.
- This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/ Technology & Interdisciplinary Engineering.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university (or college certification with relevant experience).
