Job Description

Let’s Talk about the Role We are seeking a results‑driven Monitoring & Diagnostics (M&D) Sales Manager to define and execute the sales strategy for our Grid Automation portfolio across the UK and Ireland. You will act as a primary subject matter expert, driving commercial growth for critical asset monitoring solutions—including DGA, bushing monitoring, and tap‑changer monitoring—while fostering deep strategic relationships with key stakeholders. In this role, you will be more than just a salesperson; you will be a strategic partner to our customers, translating complex technical challenges into high‑value monitoring solutions. Reporting to the North Europe Sales Leader, you will define the roadmap for our M&D portfolio, lead high‑stakes commercial negotiations, and champion the GE Vernova values as you scale our regional footprint.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Driving the sales strategy for the M&D portfolio, managing regional budgets, and achieving order intake targets.
  • Building deep, strategic relationships with key stakeholders to expand market share and drive portfolio growth.
  • Creating and implementing robust commercial strategies, including competitive positioning and "win-price" modelling.
  • Leading the full sales cycle, from deal structuring and proposal development to high‑level negotiations and contract closure.
  • Collaborating across contracts, applications, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer support and project delivery.
  • Improving commercial performance through rigorous reporting, actionable mitigation plans, and innovative problem‑solving.
  • Developing regional success by mentoring colleagues and serving as the primary subject matter expert for monitoring solutions.
