- Manage an operation, business unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
- Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
- Team management of salaried employees, excluding production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.
- Requires a people leader with the ability to hire and develop talent.
- Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development.
- Utilises in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

- Solid understanding of critical Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) processes and standards.
