Essential Responsibilities

  • Work on impactful, technically challenging projects in the power transmission industry across four 6-month rotations in disciplines such as Design, Analysis, Systems, Strategy, Project Engineering, and Quality.
  • Enhance core engineering skills through advanced courses in engineering and business leadership, attended alongside other program members from multiple functions and locations.
  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
  • Participate in development training with other GE Vernova development program members from other functions and locations.
  • Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand skills in new areas.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Fresh graduate with a Master’s Degree in an energy-related engineering field (e.g., Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering) or other STEM disciplines such as Mathematics or Physics.
  • Knowledge of power systems, power electronics, high voltage engineering, Matlab/Simulink, Python, Creo, PSCAD, AutoCAD, or C/C++ embedded/real-time development is an advantage.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom (Graduate Visa not eligible). GE Vernova does not provide visa or relocation support for these positions.
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening (as applicable).
