Manufacturing Assembler - Permanent NIGHTS

Job Overview

Become part of a winning team contributing to the Green Energy transition. You will join a team focused on manufacturing large power transformers, ensuring assembly, inspection, and testing are conducted using Lean methodology, following specifications and instructions with the correct tools.

Shift Details: Permanent nights, 10pm – 6am, with a shift allowance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with EHS policies and safe working procedures.
  • Build products according to manufacturing plans, maintaining quality standards.
  • Assist in training team members as needed.
  • Manufacture efficiently following defined processes to control product costs.
  • Implement process improvements and suggest savings using GE’s Employee Ideas Scheme.
  • Perform routine maintenance and support the manufacturing facility as required.

Qualifications

  • Good educational background with relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in light mechanical assembly or similar environment; electrical/electronic qualifications are advantageous.
