AL Solutions are working on an exciting project with a fast emerging CRO to build out their biometrics function across the UK and Ireland. Our client have recently opened up a new UK entity and are looking for several biostatisticians ranging from Senior - AD level.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of this long-term project from the early stages, with excellent development & progression opportunities as they continue to build out this division.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary biostatistician and manage assigned projects from planning through delivery, building strong client relationships
  • Provide statistical input for study design, analysis, and reporting.
  • Mentor junior statisticians
  • Write protocol statistics sections, calculate sample sizes, and prepare randomization plans and codes.
  • Provide statistical input to Case Report Forms (CRF) design and database/variable structure.
  • Develop Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs) and respond to peer review feedback.
  • Maintain QC/QA documentation and support development of new statistical methods and processes.
  • Develop and/or review ADaM dataset specifications. Review and provide input to SDTM dataset specifications when required.
  • Conduct statistical analyses according to the SAP and address review comments
  • Prepare statistical content for CSRs, publications, abstracts, and presentations.

Required Experience / Skills:

  • Degree in Statistics or related fields
  • Proven track record of working in clinical trials
  • Significant experience independently leading studies
  • Proficient with SAS
  • Good working knowledge with CDISC, ADaM and SDTM
