AL Solutions is supporting one of our key clients with the appointment of an experienced Clinical SAS Programmer / Statistical Programmer for an initial 6-month contract. This position will suit an experienced programmer who is comfortable working independently and can take ownership of statistical programming deliverables from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and validate analysis datasets
- Produce Tables, Listings and Figures (TLFs)
- Program outputs in accordance with Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs)
- Work with established in-house SAS macros
- Support the development and QC of statistical programming deliverables
- Troubleshoot programming issues and ensure outputs meet quality and timeline expectations
- Collaborate with statistics and wider cross-functional teams as required
Requirements
- Strong hands-on SAS programming experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech or CRO environment
- Demonstrable experience producing analysis datasets and TLFs
- Strong understanding of working from SAPs
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Good knowledge of clinical data and statistical programming processes
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused approach
Desirable
- Experience with CDISC standards
- Experience writing CDISC dataset specifications
- SDTM / ADaM experience
