The predicted salary is between 54000 - 84000 £ per year.
We are partnered with a small, niche Oncology focused CRO that are looking for an Associate Director of Pharmacovigilance on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. This role will involve line managing a team of 7 people within the PV team, whilst playing a key role in the strategic direction and oversight of all Pharmacovigilance activities throughout the Clinical Development and Post-Marketing phases.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the flow of work and resource within the department
- Direct PV standalone projects, including provision of project governance, oversight and timelines
- Deliver Pharmacovigilance training across the team
- Provide regular reports on metrics and performance for the SLT
- Assume an active role in client liaison for ongoing projects
- Actively participate in business development related activities
- Provide Pharmacovigilance advice, expertise, support and documentation relating to activities worldwide
Requirements:
- Extensive background working within Pharmacovigilance
- Life Science degree or equivalent
- Previous experience line managing a Pharmacovigilance team/function
- Proven track record of working with regulatory agencies
- Strong experience with business development related activities, including bid defences
- Excellent knowledge of Good Pharmacovigilance practices
