The predicted salary is between 54000 - 84000 £ per year.

We are partnered with a small, niche Oncology focused CRO that are looking for an Associate Director of Pharmacovigilance on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. This role will involve line managing a team of 7 people within the PV team, whilst playing a key role in the strategic direction and oversight of all Pharmacovigilance activities throughout the Clinical Development and Post-Marketing phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flow of work and resource within the department
  • Direct PV standalone projects, including provision of project governance, oversight and timelines
  • Deliver Pharmacovigilance training across the team
  • Provide regular reports on metrics and performance for the SLT
  • Assume an active role in client liaison for ongoing projects
  • Actively participate in business development related activities
  • Provide Pharmacovigilance advice, expertise, support and documentation relating to activities worldwide

Requirements:

  • Extensive background working within Pharmacovigilance
  • Life Science degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience line managing a Pharmacovigilance team/function
  • Proven track record of working with regulatory agencies
  • Strong experience with business development related activities, including bid defences
  • Excellent knowledge of Good Pharmacovigilance practices
