Al-Khair Foundation is looking for Call Centre Representatives to join our team and support our donors. You will manage calls, process donations, and provide accurate information on our projects and campaigns. This is a Fixed-Term Contract providing flexibility, with shifts allocated according to availability, workload, and campaigns, offering the chance to contribute to a meaningful cause in a diverse and supportive environment. Paid training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, directing queries to the correct department or individual.
- Provide accurate information on projects, campaigns, and donation processes.
- Record and respond to donor queries and complaints in line with organisational procedures.
- Maintain accurate donor records and correspondence in Salesforce.
- Process donations following internal procedures.
- Support administrative systems to ensure smooth operation of the Call Centre.
- Safeguard the confidentiality and security of donor data at all times.
- Assist with fundraising campaigns, live appeals, and donation initiatives (e.g., Gift Aid, event pledges).
- Support the Head of Donor Services in achieving fundraising targets.
Must be available to work during peak campaign periods, specifically Ramadan and Qurbani.
Requirements
- Fluent in English with proficiency in Urdu or Bengali.
- Knowledge of Islamic principles relevant to donor enquiries.
- Strong IT skills; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Availability during key campaign periods and four weeks prior for training.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as required.
- Comply with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
