Exceptional opportunity to join our expanding and unrivalled Belfast Real Estate team. The role of a Paralegal in A&L Goodbody provides an opportunity for involvement in multi-jurisdictional matters/projects working with an international client base. Our Paralegals provide essential administration support to Partners/Fee Earners working as part of a wider unrivalled Real Estate team to provide seamless delivery to our clients and to contribute to the success of the firm.
As a Paralegal, your role will involve the following:
- Providing efficient administrative support service to Fee Earners
- Extensive diary management, using Microsoft Outlook
- Assisting with printing, scheduling title deeds, correspondence, billing and administration tasks
- Updating our document management system and providing accurate and timely assistance with soft and hard copy filing
- Assisting with registrations, Registry of Deeds and Land Registry together with other ad-hoc administrative requirements
- Assisting with HMRC Stamp Duty Land Tax returns
- Proactive support across all other departments on a need’s basis.
Requirements:
- We are looking for a team player who is keen to add value through their role, is enthusiastic in their delivery and actively engages with our culture and core values.
- Current working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proactive, professional can do attitude with exceptional attention to detail and pride in work
- Experience of using the Land Registry e-registrations system (Landweb)
- Experience of using digital dictation systems such as Bighand
- Experience of using time recording and invoicing systems such as Expert
- Experience of matter inception and working with document management systems such as Filesite
