Overview
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced Waiter/Waitresses full time to join our team in our Goodge Street branch. Our restaurants are dynamic and busy. We are specialised in fresh pasta and Italian wines. The perfect Waiter/Waitress should have excellent customer service skills, greet customers in a polite and friendly manner, provide menus and suggest daily/weekly specials. They also are the point of contact for bills and return of funds.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers as they settle down at the restaurant tables and introducing them to the menus
- Taking orders
- Inquiring if the customers are satisfied, giving bills and processing payments
- Operating the bar and coffee section
- Attending regular meetings with restaurant and kitchen managers to learn about menu changes and specials
- Training to new waiting staff
- General cleaning
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience: Required
- Languages: English – Advanced
- Employment: Full-time
- Salary: £13 – £14 hourly
- Benefits: Service charge + Tips
- Starting time: Immediate start
- Note: Base salary starting at £12.71 per hour; opportunities for promotion to Head waiter/Supervisor as the team grows
