Job Purpose
You will play a key role in the success of your store by collaborating with instore colleagues and our UK Sales Team to provide a memorable customer experience to professionals & DIY enthusiasts.
We will look to you to use your people skills to help maximize the sales and market share of Akzo Nobel products and accessories in your store.
You will carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses too.
This is a 30-hour per week role, worked across the store's opening hours of 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday. The position will be scheduled as 6 hours per day.
- Job Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, and unload goods for daily deliveries and collections.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely customer service.
- Provide a professional and courteous experience during customer deliveries and collections.
- Support warehouse and stock handling activities when required, including loading and replenishment tasks.
- Play an active part in engagement planning & monthly store meeting sessions.
- Ensure customers receive a warm welcome, an informed conversation & personalized proposal.
- Support your store's monthly customer contact plan.
- Develop your skills & encourage colleagues to do so using our training tools.
- Job Requirements
- Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
- Manual driving license held for minimum of 2 years.
- Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key.
