Territory Manager – Dulux Trade/Retail, Armstead, Cuprinol & Automotive brands

Location: Field Based covering Newport, Bristol and Wellington

We’re looking for a Territory Manager to drive growth, build strong customer relationships, and represent one of the UK’s most recognised and trusted brands in the coatings industry. In this role, you’ll take ownership of your territory, working closely with both Retail & Trade partners to grow our Dulux Trade/Retail, Armstead, Cuprinol & Automotive business.

What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships to develop both existing and new customers.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing existing customer accounts.
  • Promote and sell the Dulux Trade, Retail, Armstead, Cuprinol & Hammerite product ranges, ensuring customers understand the value and benefits of our solutions.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and technical advice to customers to support their projects and business success.
  • Work closely with Trade & Retail partners, and internal teams to maximise opportunities in the market.
  • Plan and manage your territory effectively, prioritising customer visits and business opportunities.
  • Identify and win new business, strengthening AkzoNobel’s presence within our portfolio of customers.
  • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform your sales strategy.
  • Represent AkzoNobel professionally in the field, delivering a best‑in‑class customer experience.

What you bring:

  • Experience in a field‑based sales role or strong customer‑facing commercial experience.
  • A proven ability to build relationships and influence customers.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a passion for winning and growing business.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills to manage a busy territory.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, results‑driven mindset with the motivation to succeed.
  • A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel across your territory.
