Job Title

Sales Assistant/Driver – Dulux Decorator Centre Belfast, Shore Road

Job Purpose

You will play a key role in the store’s success by collaborating with in-store colleagues and the UK Sales Team to deliver a memorable customer experience to professionals and DIY enthusiasts. You will help maximize sales and market share of AkzoNobel products and accessories, and you will carry out customer deliveries to homes and businesses.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role. You need to be available to work shifts between 7:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday. Some Saturday shifts (8:00–16:00) on a rotational basis with time off in lieu.

Job Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and participate in monthly store meetings.
• Provide a warm welcome, informed conversation, and personalized proposals.
• Use client service tools to ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Support the store’s monthly customer contact plan.
• Follow merchandising plans to restock the shop floor.
• Load the van and plan delivery routes.
• Develop skills and encourage colleagues using training tools.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in a customer service/retail role.
• Valid driving license.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to support colleagues.
• Calm under pressure.
