Overview

QHSE Administrator role at AkzoNobel in Deeside CH5 2UA. You will support Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Security activities for our coatings manufacturing site at Deeside to ensure that the Quality & Health, Safety, Environment and Security objectives are met.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the QHSE&S Manager with planning, coordinating and implementing effective Quality & HSE policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on issues covering company arrangements & standards for health & safety.
  • Provide guidance on health, safety & environmental matters.
  • Help with specialist health & safety assessments.
  • Undertake inspections of workplaces and produce accurate reporting.
  • Provide both formal and informal health & safety training.
  • Support accident/incident investigations.
  • Conduct risk & occupational exposure assessments.
  • Follow up regulatory permits related to HSE&S.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role.
  • Familiar with Management Systems, auditing tools, crisis management, incident investigation and related QHSE processes.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
