This is a unique opportunity for an experienced / new to sales professional to use their skills in a business that is expert in making coatings. Join us and maximise the sales of Dulux, Cuprinol, Polycell, Hammerite, Sikkens and Armstead via our Trade, Retail and Automotive channels in your region.

The Role

  • Work with designated accounts in your territory to deliver sales, profit and share and cash collection targets.
  • Prospect for and develop new distribution opportunities.
  • Develop appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods as well as providing quality of service.
  • Execute business sales plans, marketing initiatives, new product launches, promotions and more to grow profitability.
  • Review our brand presence and maintain our brand leadership status by regularly merchandising our products to gain maximum awareness in store.
  • Deliver customer service levels that ensure the market continues to use AkzoNobel products above all others.

About You

  • Sales experience or a willingness to learn on the job.
  • Good at building relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and practical financial skills.
  • An understanding of category management and an eye for effective merchandising.
  • Excels at achieving targets and are resilient in negotiations.
  • Full driving licence.
