We’re looking for an EMEA eCommerce Lead to drive the growth and transformation of our digital ecommerce marketing strategy across the region. In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of eCommerce initiatives for our brands & products, working cross-functionally to unlock new opportunities, enhance customer experience, and deliver sustainable growth. What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development and execution of the EMEA eCommerce channel strategy, aligned with wider business objectives & teams.
  • Drive online sales growth across key platforms and channels, including pureplay and omnichannel partners.
  • Activate ecommerce optimisation programs across our Digital Shelf, including best practice experiences, asset management & data syndication.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of eCommerce tools, platforms, and best practices across markets.
  • Analyse performance data and market trends to optimise eCommerce performance and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with commercial, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience.
  • Influence key stakeholders across regions and functions to ensure alignment and delivery of priorities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and emerging trends to keep AkzoNobel at the forefront of digital commerce.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, capabilities, and ways of working.

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in eCommerce, digital commerce, or online sales, ideally within a multinational environment.
  • Proven experience in marketing or related functions, with an understanding of the digital shelf optimisations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering growth through digital channels.
  • Experience working with online retailers, marketplaces, or omnichannel customers.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple regions and functions.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data into actionable insight.
  • Experience managing projects or programmes in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to delivery.
