Job Purpose
We have two Demand Planner vacancies available at AkzoNobel in Felling. Your role will be to help the business achieve targets by facilitating the forecasting and demand planning process in the EMEA region. We will look to you to ensure that high level forecasts from the business are translated into detailed product forecasts and supply plans. You will also track performance against KPI s, produce regular reporting and identify solutions to barriers that prevent achievement of monthly targets.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate data for planning meetings.

Oversee weekly/monthly Demand Reviews with Sales and/or Customer Service team.

Feed forecasts into the relevant systems.

Support the Supply Planning team with SKU safety stock, product classification & master planning settings.

Measure forecast accuracy & review variances.

Assist in the product range management process including meeting attendance & forecast management for NPI/ upcoming deletions.

Support projects & process improvement to enhance performance & efficiency of planning activities.

Monitor and report forecast accuracy, investigating and explaining key variances.

Participate in product range management, including forecasts for new product introductions (NPI) and phase-outs.

Contribute to ongoing projects and process improvements aimed at increasing planning efficiency and performance.
Job Requirements

Extensive experience working in the Demand / Supply chain role.

Proficient user of SAP & BI.

Experience in IBP processes and Demand/Supply Planning tools.
