Job Purpose
An important member of the Dulux Decorating Centre (DDC) store management team, you will support a Manager responsible for the performance of a cluster of DDC stores to increase sales and market share by building effective partnerships with customers and developing and engaging the store sales team to meet business targets.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Cluster Manager to deliver a culture of engagement.
- Collaborate in nurturing a high‑performing sales team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Help ensure stores have the right culture, processes and controls in place.
- Own the P&L with an emphasis on delivering sales while optimising margin, cost efficiency and protecting against stock/cash losses.
- Maintain a market‑leading service experience for our customers.
- Develop customer contact plans.
- Review performance and trends with the Cluster Manager.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience supervising a store and reviewing people/business performance.
- Understanding the importance of nurturing and inspiring colleagues.
- Comfortable using business systems.
