Overview
In this role you own the Pre-Deco & Hammerite segment in the UK, shaping local strategy and driving activation to deliver sustainable growth. You’ll partner with Sales, Category, and EMEA teams to strengthen brand preference and bring market-relevant innovations. You’ll lead local campaigns, launches, and NPI initiatives, using insights to improve ROI and performance. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role that combines strategic planning with activation excellence to shape the brand’s future.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead the Pre-Deco & Hammerite paint segment locally, driving brand and commercial agenda for market share, growth, and volume
- Develop and deliver the annual local brand plan aligned with mandates and the wider EMEA roadmap
- Collaborate with Sales and Category teams to monitor performance and identify drivers, risks, and opportunities
- Analyze sales, market share, consumer and shopper data to generate actionable insights
- Support forecasting, business planning and performance reviews
- Coordinate cross-functional teams through innovation and launch processes
- Identify growth opportunities via consumer and commercial insight
- Support launch plans, positioning, communications and in-market activation
- Build relationships across Marketing, Sales, Category, Finance, Insights, Supply Chain
- Own local NPI projects on the EMEA roadmap and ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives
- Localise international campaigns to maximize relevance and impact
- Drive campaigns and brand-building activities for visibility and commercial performance
- Maintain accurate product documentation for customers and stakeholders
- Evaluate campaign and NPI performance to improve ROI
- Lead assortment mix analysis and manage local portfolio and product mix
- Lead local execution of operating and commercial plans, activations, and complexity reduction initiatives
- Share market opportunities and insights with EMEA teams
- Lead local activation excellence and commercial success of campaigns
Key requirements
- Degree-level qualification in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Experience in brand building/marketing roles at assistant brand manager level
- Strong data and analytical skills with ability to evaluate performance and drive actions
- Growth mindset with proactive opportunity identification and continuous improvement
- Proven project management and implementation experience with strong organizational skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to influence stakeholders
