Job Purpose
Your role will be to develop a competency assessment and training approach at our manufacturing site in support of building a continuous improvement mindset and culture as well as workforce skill development at our Felling production site.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop & implement a comprehensive in-house training framework tailored to our manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify training needs to upskill operators & teams.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new hires.
- Design & facilitate delivery of training programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify apprenticeship opportunities to effectively make use of the levy.
- Enhance the skills of manufacturing, quality, engineering & warehousing teams through targeted initiatives.
- Collaborate with our national network to share & implement best practices.
- Monitor/evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes & enhance as needed.
- Provide regular reports to the leadership team on training progress and outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Experience of designing & facilitating training interventions.
- Experience of coaching and/or mentoring.
- Awareness of external benchmarking.
- Effective project management skills.
- Used to budget management.
