Drive Workplace Equality & Inclusion – Diversity Training

Overview

This course provides an opportunity to explore, investigate and understand issues and concerns related to Equality and Diversity in the workplace.

The programme will provide staff with the opportunity to discuss Equality and Diversity practices within their organisation, to reflect on current practice, to share experiences, to develop competence and to identify areas of focus for future development.

Outcomes

By the end of the training course you will be able to:

• Understand the importance of enhancing Equality and Diversity in the workplace
• Understand the legal landscape in relation to Equality and Diversity and requirements for employers
• Explore Microaggressions and Unconscious Bias in the workplace and the potential impact on employees
• Understand policies and practices related to Equality and Diversity in the workplace, including the development of Equality Impact Statements.
