You will learn how to carry out a range of day-to-day computerised payroll routines and produce a range of payroll reports. Participants will also develop an awareness of the importance of maintaining accuracy, security and data integrity.
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Process & understand HMRC submissions in payroll.
- Set up and amend employee details.
- Set up pension scheme and pension payments.
- Process weekly and monthly payroll.
- Process Statutory Payments, including SSP, SMP, SPP etc.
- Calculate and pay holiday pay.
- Make corrections to payroll.
